To all the NZFF / ARNZ Members

Robin phoned me this morning , very casual he was to mention he is in Hospital for an open heart bypass operation . He spoke very calm almost as if a walk in the park .
I am currently organizing and liaison between family , for further information , i was in slumber , gave me time to think how much Robin has given us .

I no you are not allowed computers in hospital , he can't read this , so this is an open response to GET WELL , and send messages of support , i will print these and put them into OUR NZFF / ARNZ Get well soon Book which i chose and a pet subject of Robins 'With Great Forsight' The history of Christchruch International Airport .

Here,s from all off us

Get Well Mate .

Wishing you a speedy recovery Rob...........
Youre obviously in the right place at the moment.............
Hospitals,............ not my favourite places,.... but when you need em.......... no better place to be.
Spent enough time in Tauranga hospital over the last year, i could model every square inch of that damn place from memory only laugh.gif
We're all thinking of ya mate.............

When's the op? Anyway - a heartfelt "get well soon" from me as well. You'll be running up those hills again in no time!

My next door neighbour had the same thing. Had a mild heart attack on a Wednesday ... apparently they only do by-passes once a month (in Auckland) ... on a Thursday ... he was back home on Saturday! His recovery was hampered mainly by the gash in his thigh (where they nicked a bit of "tubing") but after about a wek he felt as if his body had been "rolled back" 20 years! He's been fit as a fiddle ever since!

Get well smile.gif

All the best for a speedy recovery Robin.
Most of us old fliers know what its like to stall a plane and do a fast recovery without to many problems lets hope you can do the same and have a happy landing a good rest and you should be ready to go fly again in no time.
