As a long term simmer I still use FS9 most of my simming, mainly thanks to FSNav (totally the same reasons as Fozzer) and various paywares I have purchased over the years. Plus my aging computer runs it better. So since 80% of my flying is in airliners IFR, I might as well be in FS9. Can't see the ground anyway!
However, I still really love FSX for certain things. And now "WOW" with VLC I won't fly GA in NZ ever again on FS9 - well maybe just in the Aeroworx King Air

While I do have a very modest system, I can still get enjoyment from both sims and am happy to have both flyable.
Intel Core 2 Duo 6400, 4gb RAM, 7950GT 512mb GFX, FS9.1, FSX Gold + Acceleration.
I occasionally fire up my copy of FSX, but as soon as I realise that I am completely lost without my FS Nav running at the same time,

I lose all interest, and go back to my FS 2004...

My on-line FSX (and FS 2004) Chums are always surprised that I know exactly where they are, and what they are doing, during the Sessions. Every one on the Server appear in real time on the moving map, together with their identification!...

It is perfect for generating VFR and IFR Flight Plans.
FS Navigator is one of those unique add-on programs, like VOZ, etc, for spicing up the Flight Sims!
So many benefits!
Many of the On-line Flyers are still using their FS 2004 together with FS Nav.
I have no doubt, that if FS Navigator had been re-programmed to run on FSX, I would now be using FSX every day...
...but at the moment, for me, its FS 2004 and FS Nav, all the way!...
