Think VC and flight dynamics are much better than Milviz

After watching a recent video posted here in the South Island the Huey doing mountain flight training , i tend to agree the model appears better polished and with wire cutters and textures .

There was no pictures on the Aerosoft site, so I had to google it. Found a good thread with lots of good pictures. Its a good model with plenty of detail and good eye candy, but I have to agree with some, that the nose shape is not right. To me the nose shape defines the whole machine and its a bloody hard one to get right, but a model of that calibre should be spot on.

I'm having a hard time finding NZ-based civil schemes for the UH-1H.... can you point me in the right direction? (or do you mean fictional schemes?)

There is an "H " model pictured here in this thread (not very attractive though):

There are are others around - I will see what I come up with.

Oh wow! I recognize that scheme on ZK-HSP!

I'm betting in it's past life it operated with the US Army in the Sinai Desert as part of the Multinational Force & Observers (MFO)! My dad used to fly with them!

Found a NZ registered "B" model for those with the Milviz/Nemeth Huey:

Also, before I ask at Wings Over New Zealand, anyone have any idea what the text on the side of ZK-HSP (the H model Sinai Huey) says?

Not sure..maybe its South Pacific?

The Beck B model Huey is one I'm familar with! I use to live not too far from there and I know the Becks , although back then they had Jetrangers and earlier than that a Bell 47

Neat! Glad I could bring up that personal connection for you, as you did for me!

Mentioned this thread in the Huey thread at Wings Over New Zealand, so we'll see what they come up with as far as info (and hopefully more pictures of NZ Hueys).

The boxreleasedate moved to 24th february, but the designers talk about a downloadrelease end of next week.
