Murchison - NZMR

Not sure if I like the 'grassed' circular parking areas...and I'm not sure about the building to the left of the runway. Other than that, I suppose it's ok.

I might have to mess around with the mesh a bit - in order to get the level of the road more even with the aerodrome.

Suggestions welcomed, before I upload to Avsim.

Last time I was at NZMR there was only a small one person outdoor loo where that building is and no other buildings

Thanks for that. I'll ammend the scenery.

Should I keep those circular parking spots?

Personally I'd drop the round circles. Murchison is pretty much a farm type strip and not well groomed enough, to show up distinctive circular spots. Have you had a look in Google earth?

Thanks, deaneb, yeah I'll eradicate those spots. I've been working from Google Earth, and it does look a bit 'empty'...think I've almost finished.

Ok...I've uploaded - basic scenery...nothing fancy like Lawrie's sceneries.

Have a look at MS Virtual Earth. Noticed that the the photos there are a bit clearer than Google. But that is only on the strip I'm currently working on.
