I have read on the forums and I definately agree that they screwed the nose of the huey. It just dos'nt look right, that said It will be an awsome addition to my whirly bird collection.

The nose is correct, the model is awesome. I think only Dodosim can top it. The rotor animations are very cool.

Hi, I bought it some days ago and it looks fine. But: This heli needs the FSX-Controller, it doesn´t work with FSUIPC or you have to change your fsx.cfg: http://www.forum.aerosoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=42866
I´m frustrated!

Do you have to reconfigure your controll imports every time you want to go back to fixed wing?

No problems with the FPS, but I have to say I use the FPS-Limiter.

I don´t use a registered FSUIPC, so I have no Problems with the Controller. everything is well with my Saitek X52

I really want this but Im not sure about the system requirements. Single core 3.2ghz processor, 2.5ghz ram. According to Aerosofts website it will only JUST run.

Im a little put off by the german in the vc and that their system requirements are so high. Will have to see if any good RAAF and Kiwi repaints turn up.

Aerosoft has released English cockpit textures so there is the option of English or German which gives you some variation if thats any help

the font is 'Universal J'. its unlikely you will find it any where in the Net as it is a font that the RNZAF created (in the 70's i think). Its sort of the combination of the old San Serif font (that was used on the Harvards) and the American USAF fonts that were abit more straight line style.
When the RNZAF went to computer cut stencils for aircraft markings, we actually had to create the Universal J font alphabet digitally so we could create the lettering by computer.
