A bit of "academic sheep humour" eh !!

Well, I thought about that before I took the screen and then thought it would be best if turned to my old friend Wikipedia. I read there:QUOTEDue to relatively low acquisition and operating costs, the R22 has been popular as a primary rotorcraft trainer around the world and as a livestock management tool on large ranches in North America and cattle stations in Australia.[/quote]
So I thought it passed?
And it's not because I don't like your cresco, infact it has a LOT of time in my logbook!

No doubt they do use Robbies to round up sheep in the South High Country...

Hahaha I would have thought that with all the ag research that you have done, you would have found that the R22 is about as Kiwi ag as you can get!

Don't quite understand?? Whilst a few R22 are used by some operators for the odd job, they are definitely not "as kiwi ag as you can get" !! They are a training/private helicopter with very limited payload. Even Robinson Helicopters do not endorse what some operators are doing with them as many have crashed as a result of flying beyond there design parameters.Last edited by deaneb on Sat Feb 19, 2011 6:37 pm, edited 1 time in total.
