By "colour" do you mean the tone of grey? As it’s hard to change as aerosoft hasn’t really created a paint kit it just flat white which means the grey i want has to be at a lower opacity to see the rivet and panel line details.

You should be able to get a layered paint kit at the update section of the Aerosoft website, then you can paint it the right shade of grey and not lose the rivets. If you just downoaded that pic on the topic about the paint kit then you haven't got the right file.

I have the correct file but the problem is it’s only got 2 layers one of which is the blank flat white and then another layer that is almost like a mesh of the model I will have another shot but the colours will most likely not be exact.

I'm very fortunate , the big dig around my place , rebuilding the road couple years back found the ground to be very solid , fingers crossed

The file is nearly another 20 megs , no NZ paints as yet , i,m not doing any yet ... ya just get wobbly lines were they spose to be straight .

Hi Alex,

How's that RNZAF repaint going? I'm not trying to pushy, but I haven't really taken this out of the hanger since I got it because a Luftwaffe UH-1 at Ohakea just looks wrong – if you know what I mean!

I Google it about twice a month and haven’t found anyone who has done any RNZAF paints yet.

Anyone know of any that have released?

I'm almost tempted to commission one of those commercial repaint types to do it since I have repainting skills of similar to Happy feet’s navigation skills, but if you’re getting close I’ll hold off.

Cheers Paul
