At AVSIM.SU
Vlad has made it even nicer...

Some years ago I was breakfasting on the deck when this NOISE approached up the valley.
It was one of these, and made a lasting impression as it lumbered by.
It's huge!

That's the one. It's a funny museum that one, some real cool stuff in it. biggrin.gif There is a note on the side door of the AN-2 saying they hope to get it flying again one day. smile.gif

My Russain is a bit rusty, but I'm picking that:

4 разновидности модели, 11 текстур, широкоформатная панель, русские приборы, полностью рабочий VC, много анимации, эффекты. Только для FS-9
Обязательно прочтите мануал - там все подробности.

Translates to something like:

4 models, 11 textures, large cockpit, Russian equipment, a fully working VC, a lot of animation effects. Only for FS-9
Be sure to read the manual - all the details are contained in it.

Bugger! not FSX
Takeoff's are optional. Landings are mandatory.

That's the one!
You see a single-engine double-decker approaching in the distance, and you have no idea of scale.
So one minute it seems to be going rather slowly, then you see how BIG it is, and then realise how slowly it's actually going!

The older one actually works fine in FSX so I suspect this one will too, I'm assuming he meant he's only tested it in FS9, not that it doesn't work in FSX.
