Yes I saw that, very tempted I might add.

I,ve bought aircraft before and been very disappointed. Are these any good?

There is a free trail option least was six months ago - 1000 ft alt only , at cost 50% off would be snazzy if you cannot wait for the VS model .

I got both - It's a vast improvement on the default and quite detailed. It's a joy to fly, but a bit of a pig to land on short fields because you've got to take into the account of the massive flaps that just about stall you in mid air when you drop them - which is apparentltly very realistic. I'd rate it about 85 out of 100.

I had a bit of a read around, looked at some reviews, and ended up buying this JF DC3. It's a fabulous looking external model, the textures that ship with it seem very detailed, the sounds are good and the VC is nice and clean, maybe not super gritty but ok. Overall this is a great price for a machine that is a step up from the default one. I had the MAAM machine on FS9 but havent looked at migrating it to FSX yet.

Now if only someone would knock out some textures for the NZ birds

Here's a couple of threads reviewing the JF machine in case you're interested:

Sorely tempted. Manfred Jahn's C47 is a fine flyer but it uses the 'el crapo' default panel. There were rumors of a panel redo but nothing yet.

Nice screenies. Why are the props feathered?
