This is a basic upgrade to default NZMO Te Anau Airport-Manapouri ,NZMC Mountcook airport,NZMF milford sound, NZCI chatham island airport from fs-creations.org which is design to merge objects with FTX orbx NZSI objects and airport scenery addons, also extra objects from my payware scenerys HamiltonX and TaupoX have been added to enhance the airport if you have these two Addons from my shop the objects will show up automatic in the scenerys if you have them both active in scenery manager library .
both low cost scenery at $9.95 usd with high detail 3d terminals and at standards you will love ,be sure to visit FS-creations.org for more info ..

remove any older scenerys for these airports ,including the first versions i released for VLC ,no uninstall of the ftx NZSI is needed as its used with my higher detailed buildings "Merged objects "

this is only for use with FTX Orbx NZSI scenery addon

Download is available on my Freeware pages HERE!!!!!!!
enjoy winkyy.gif

Gav , these airport scenerys really enchance NZSI , Just what we needed to fix many airport into a more realistic feel and have orbx fill in the gaps
No points guessing were we are here biggrin.gif

As 'Goose' would say to 'Mav' , watch the hills , watch the hills ohmy.gif

Time to buzz the Cook , No 'Mav' this is not a good idea ohmy.gif

Lovely place to land into with your private jet

No not really kinda stuck between supporting my main customers wishes , making the scenery compatible as most seem to have jumped ship at the better looking landclass , cant blame them really and there is no way im going to waste my time building all these airports not to get used ,to bad not every effort was made to make VLC texture sets before this FTX NZSI release ..

I will continue just to knock out airports for both platforms which is simple enough just a hassle redoing what you think you did ages ago again ,North Island will be cool winkyy.gif

Flt Lt Martin Withers , Operation Black Buck 1982 .. Tume to kick the argies off the Falklands and attack the Chatham Is ohmy.gif

But hell , many interesting moments during those Missions , wonder if Peter Jackson would hire a Vulcan for a movie about that very mission ninja.gif

Chatham Islands as the Falkland Islands and Chatham airfield as Port Stanley airfield winkyy.gif now that would be great , they would have to base the Vulcan at NZCH

and they may have to rebuild Chatham airfield to look the part , course Mike may need to again rebuild a model to suit , just to blow up tho ninja.gif

And off course revert back to the true airfield when Sir Peter has completed the movie , cr@p surprised the Australians have not grabbed him as there own

Looking brilliant, Mike. Amazing to see the difference a bit of reality makes.

Not likely -- nobody can use 'FTX' elements in any scenery except Orbx themselves, so I don't think that anybody here will be specifically making scenery for FTX, unless they are doing it for Orbx only. However compatibility is important, otherwise the NZ simming user base will end up fragmented.

Thanks, Mike - I really appreciate all your sceneries - and I'm glad that I can keep using them even though I've gone over to "the dark side" laugh.gif

I agree, I haven't purchased NZSI yet but it seems so far most people are very happy with their ORBX installation. Not to sure if its a clear cut decision but it would be easier to mainly support one of the landclass/meshs. Maybee huh.gif

Nice shots Ian, looks like you need a supporting harrier thou.

Very Cool airports...love the smoke coming from chimneys and the Intercity buses and of course the Holden’s, as I drive one myself. Sshhh you Ford fans. I was once one, owned an XW Falcon, 302 Windsor, 3 stage auto, plush velvet seats. Wish I still had it!
As a newbie Flight simmer I have to admit that I will be looking more towards ORBX's terrain's NZSI with integration from others that support it (South Is). creator2003's airports being what I mean. That’s not to say that I was not impressed with other developer’s scenery. I'm just a believer of "The Fewer the Better". As far as scenery is concerned anyway! Aircraft is a different matter.

One thing I am not overly impressed about with NZSI scenery (hope it’s ok saying this) is the shoreline, lakes and rivers. Needs more detail! Yes? That's something I would pay for from a developer.
Few shots of my flight from NZMC to NZMF after installing creator2003's airports. Remember newbie flyer here. Don't know how you landed that Jet there Ian, what a Stupid place to put an airport. angry.gif I though well I am not going to dive bomb land the thing, so headed out to sea and flew up the river to the airfield...Still don't know how I managed to overshoot the runway and crash the thing, will have to practice that one. Clear sky's and No wind even.

Hope I'm not comming across as a complete dick with my posts. rolleyes.gif Never really been a forum user.

I think they are ok and look better then default ,i havent fully done a tour over of every area but i feel the textures have done more for rivers, lakes and coastlines than anything else ive seen or used for NZ so far to date ,everything outside of the airport is suppose to be viewed at 1000ft or so ,lower level may take abit of the realism out around coast and other parts but overall not bad .
