I don't know if it's common knowledge or not, but PC Aviator apparently have 10% off every Tuesday. Not a big saving, but it's better than paying full price, right?

I scooped up Mega Airport Amsterdam & VFR London X tonight.

Ian,

What is your take on "Rise of Flight"? I got it too for that crazy price.

Tim , have it half pie installed .. but really its that the takes the fun out of it .. all the secret code adding and re-adjusting controls ... 15 ta 20 years ago would have been easy ... just seems a dicky setup blink.gif

Ian,

I am the same.... I thought it would be a quick and simple install and fly....? How wrong was I?
Talk about jumping through hoops and the like. The joystick and control buttons do not make any sence and whats with the constant "online login" just to play the game?

Very interesting concept the whole thing. A little cold towards it at the moment but i am sure if i give it a good nudge one weekend i will enjoy it?

Let us know how you go?

Cheers.

Tim....

I haven't downloaded / installed mine yet (I'm way over my monthly 30GB already) - that online login is the same thing I get when playing Battlefield II - must be some online profile that is "required" and that keeps a history of flights, achievements etc.

The internet is a great thing, but some days for some games I wish it were just "simple" with ALL data / info stored locally... dry.gif
