'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

Just completed my first flight and loved it:

Shoreham airport, Dover, Ramsgate, Canterbury, London City airport, Heathrow airport, Godleming, Farnborough airport.

It seems a bit flat after NZ and PNW but still very well modeled and for the most part no effect on frame rates (there was a slight drop for some of Heathrow but still very acceptable). Tried spring and autumn and found very noticeable differences (liked spring better though). Liked the Dover cliffs and the pattern of the fields together with the numerous trees throughout.

Have to explore a bit further West next time.

I'd be interested to see some screenshots from Shoreham and the South Downs area.

I mucked up, took screen captures (I thought) but then discovered that I didn't have focus on the FSX window - ine disadvantage of using external panels - you don't need to have focus on the FSX screen so pushing 'V' does nothing . . ..

Maybe I will fly down there again and try a bit harder, the old MkII needs another run over it's old hunting grounds....

All you need is www.skyvector.com

They have VFR charts for the UK. Just click on Beta charts banner on the title. A very handy resource for both big and little tin.
Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!
