Hey Ian, gonna pass on this mate sorry, looks like the usual tragic pattern form the CS guys, still lots of bugs in this "1.0" by the looks, I guess they're feeling the pressure of the imminent PMDG release?

Im having problems with the AP

after setting the FMC and switching to L and V nav after take off, she refuses to climb but insists on diving, so far the only 3 v1.0 flights now she wont climb when AP is activated in the FMC modes

anyone else having that prob?

Sorry Matt not having that problem. In fact she's behaving remarkably well for me at present. First time I've been able to fly an IFR leg with the FMC and SID/STARs and LNAV/VNAV all working as expected.
Some weird stuff still going on with the rotary nobs going crazy and spinning on their own, and ILS didnt seem to work on arrival, but heck it's a huge improvement.
Also finally glad to see some PD annunciations and overlays.

On my second flight , the control surfaces corrected and centered , using Accufeel2 or it maybe built in .. on starting the roll the aircraft vibrates as you apply thrust giving the feeling of share power which is cool .. they have a funny smoking issue tho .. press the 'i' key ..WHOOPS turn it off quick .

Found that rotating knob .. it will if you keep your mouse on adjust the heading ideal if your adjusting a complete 180 for example .. if it starts rotating a quik click will stop it .

yeah thanks Ian, noticed that, but tricky when in VC and using TrackIR as I am coz the view is constantly movind and the mouse moves away from the hotspot.

That will keep Alister happy .. more passenger aircraft not warplanes .. I gotta install the Cathay Pacific scheme , was the first 777 in New Zealand and did a nice semi low level fly pass over the city in 1995 .. that stuck in my brain case cool.gif

Sry if i offend any one here but i am going to wait for PMDG's 777. I think it will be a lot better. but if your like some who are waiting and wanting to fly to america to tell PMDG to hurry along i see why you go for second best.

I must say I'm still not impressed with the frames - I'm averaging no more than 11 frames on the ground and the VC is jumpy.

You see what it is , is people like me and Dean and others with the Captains buys have a history who at a small cost look and see what it has to offer , when PMDG gets released we can offer cos obviously it will be far more expensive the pros and the cons thus saving you moneys .. course this external model has been out for well over two years keeps us looking .

I think as you saving flights and let it settle in it appears run smooth , all the way thru its development , has these little jibbers .. then after a run everything seems to come online ... my example being 3 days back primary surfaces lock either left or right , rudder or aileron but now all seems to have corrected . ... welcome to PC FS .

Yeah, not rocket science that one Yob. Of course the PMDG will be better. Just depends how long you wanna wait. I'll be buying both but for something to wet the whistle in the mean time the CS was pretty cheap early on so cant complain.

No pobs here w frame-rates Rad. But this is the problem w the CS models really isnt it, everyone seems to have different issues, the installers just arent consistent or managed well enough it seems. A shame really coz some people have loads of issues, others very few
Makes it super hard for someone considering buying the product, well, probably makes it easy
