Now that's a great choice , i have a set of pilots notes .. i'm sure with contacts an Aucklanditer could get in the MOTAT aircraft .. the Solent/Sunderland would be a superb choice due to the New Zealand connection and makes for a much easier first project due lack of animation ... conserve the energy in building and have a fully kitted out hull .Last edited by Ian Warren on Fri Apr 19, 2013 9:49 pm, edited 1 time in total.

You maybe very surprised what you can get sent to you from aircraft companies and if you scow the technical book shops , I have book here were the detail line drawings that are so defined , simply copies , surprising watch you find with a little research , it may cost you a little but worth it .

Yes it does have something with finding the "sweet spot" with aircraft selection and pleasing people..it has EVERYTHING to do with it. I can tell you from my own experience you need to provide something different from the rest,..flogging another Spitfire,..like the P-51 has be done....and done really well by existing and established brands., also if I can suggest another thing keep your decisions/updates dates of release etc well under wraps until they are set in stone. Doing another Spit would like doing another C-130 or DC-3...its been done reasonably thoroughly ( although if you were do build a C-130J VC to couple with their J model that would be very popular !). A Sunderland would be excellent.. Myself and Ian Warren along with others have more than enough info to build it,..RNZAF,RAAF,RAF all used them if you were to couple that with dropping ordance like depth charges and bombs you would have a winner..god knows that rubbish Sunderland available at Simmarket needs to be replaced !.
Give you an example of the company your in EJ and the experience of the aircraft designers .. AB go's way back and i recall around 1997/8 with my first Wigram using the only and best P3 off the era , Put Adrian's name into flightsim.com , your really in International company of some of the worlds best aircraft builders .
you can't ask for a better place for tipsLast edited by Ian Warren on Sun Apr 21, 2013 6:54 pm, edited 1 time in total.

the F-27 looks great but I hope he spends as much time on making the nose look better as he has on the Lnding Gear cause at the moment it looks awful . If the nose aint right then the rest is pointless ( hehe pun intended)
