Looks like a goodie for the "by the book" boys , not much use to me. As far as looks go I cant really separate it from a Carenado model.

Took it out first thing this morn , got back into work , Its as I said anyone can fly one off these , its all the little lumps and hick cups that come with that make it that little extra , One hick up is I have ghost pilots , can i have ghost passengers "Arrr Spoon Head " .. they are there as the seat belts move out to suit and the aircraft moves with the weight on the ground but I have spooky pilots !

I'll have some off your SPOOKY CHIPS .. It really is the SPOOKY PILOT i'm worried about smile.gif

SPOON .. SPOON HEAD unsure.gif ... be a little glitch somewhere , I'll try a fresh D/load after the heat settles , be interesting to see if ghost man shows up in a MP .

Well tried this little bird out tonight and I must say so far I feel like i'm flying the real thing. One thing I notice is the balooning effect which is depicted nicely as well as weight and balance and even the mag check....so much more to do to stress this thing, next is an overheated engine, mixture back and throttle up wonder if I can also get a detonation to occur.

What variant of the C172 is this then? 172R? 172S? Would be good to see ZK repaints pop out for it.

I have the opposite problem. I can't get rid of the pilot at times! He is persistent and keeps popping up when I change screens....and then I have problems getting him out of the plane when I click remove.... but a great sim... it's put a new lease on life on my FSX.... Now hopefully one day they will make something faster... and Aerobatic..that's not a Warbird.

I don't appear to have any reflections from the gauges. Is that parr for the course or do I have a problem?
Also the only way I could turn on the auto pilot was to use the Z key! That can't be right. I haven't got much hair left so I don't want to start tearing it out unless I really need to. At least I don't have a phantom passenger like Ian does.

Just like that advert as one walks down the road getting offered Ghostly chips , "I don't want your ghostly chips"

I do no these little things will be looked at quickly , everything works perfect , i'll check the reflections as well , something i was not looking for during my spooky test flights

I've had a chance for a bit more of an in depth check of this aircraft and there are rather a lot of "little" problems and also some rather large ones not least, very little or no prop torque. After lining up on the runway the rudder pedals become surplus to requirements until airborne. In fairness to A2A I will not be posting the full list as they are pretty obvious as you do more flying and they will be sure to fix at least some issues pretty quick. Having said all that this Aircraft has the potential to end up being a long lasting classic for FSX.
