Everything except the new EC-130 is US$9.95.

I have heard numerous bug reports involving the Hind, so that's out, and I'm not after the Twin Squirrel after having multiple issues with the standard Squirrel.

With that being said, I probably enjoy their EC-135 the most, followed by the Huey, and am looking at either the MD 902 or the AS332 Super Puma. Anyone have either and have any thoughts?
I'm still very hesitant with Nemeth, but I haven't seen many poor reports on either the 902 or Puma, so I'm willing to buy one or the other. Both seem to have been painted in a variety of liveries by third parties, which is one of the selling points for me. Also, both seem to have HTR profiles on Hovercontrol (though the HTR for the Puma is for Dirk F's freeware model).

Current FSX Nemeth helicopters I own:

UH-1 Huey (generally enjoyable. Downsides: extra..incorrect beacon light on tail boom, and radios that cannot be autotuned...making frequency changing interesting. Also, it requires a particular ready or saved flight state in order to start up successfully.)

AS350 (HSI acts like wet compass, making instrument flight unnecessarily difficult. Rudder pedals only seem to respond once helicopter is off the ground, leading to a yawing movement that is unavoidable. Allegedly they cannot reproduce this, and it sounds like it's primarily a problem with their optional, "more realistic" FDE. Others have reported a lack of an ability to cold start it, but I cannot recall further details at this time.)

EC-135 (favorite of the group...just two notes: lack of an avionics master switch, and a beacon light that can be activated without battery power, though it does stay off/on depending on light switch position as appropriate, unlike BO-105. Other than that, looks great, sounds great, functions generally realistically, and there is an EC-135 HTR profile for it. The only other thing I can think of is that adding third party liveries can lead to peculiar behavior involving the addon not reading texture.cfg files properly, leading to the need to copy over appropriate corresponding texture files from the product's included liveries in full. Other than that, third party repaints work fine.)

A109 (generally nice after FDE patches, but it still isn't a favorite of mine. Lacking avionics master like other products. Noticed peculiarities with the wheels and shock absorbers when taxiing on ground involving excessive shock movement and lack of wheel rotation (if I recall correctly)).

BO-105 (probably second favorite behind the 135. Default sounds are a bit quiet, but there is a nice set or two available on Hovercontrol. Lack of avionics switch. Red beacon light stays on/active regardless of battery and light switch state...usually...it's very inconsistent.

CH-54 Skycrane (generally enjoyable if you like slower helicopters. Civilian S-64 model has error with inop engine 2 temperature or rpm gauge cannot recall which right now. Needs aircraft.cfg lights edit to make rotating beacons work. Also, like the Huey, the radios can only be tuned manually, making things challenging with ATC.)

For yourself and me maybe I am very surprised the BK-117 has not been looked at by the Nemeth Design group , one that keeps getting missed in the cross-hairs unsure.gif
