Very nice .... i think Doug likes these. Along the Dh lines ... do you know if anyone has ever done a Drover .... a three engine joby , at least i think they were Dh.
There used to be up at Whenuapai , the skydive club used it .

I don't know of a Drover for any recent version of the simulator, or even a Dove with a VC. This will definitely be the best DH Dove/Heron iteration out there when released, and I'm very much looking forward to it!

Looks Great, gave a little nudge nudge .. the Devon is one i can crawl all over and measure to a .. Well Ill get my mic and vernier out .. but that's true !

A Heron/Devon follow-on addon would be great to see too. You may want to specifically tell him that you have access to one if that's the case.

A Heron with a VC YIPEE I have been looking for one of these for the last 5 or 6 years I'm all for these old aircraft that flew the sky's of New Zealand back in my better days

Doug going ten years back i went for one hell off a trip ... running outta runway ... getting a ton of fuel loaded into it ... Best part was doing the Mac-Gyver run to the door to get into it

It's a great shame Derek Palmer lost the source files for his Dove/Devon. I'm sure we would have an FSX native version with a VC by now, had that not been the case.

Definitely another vote here for a Dove/Devon follow up to the new Heron (which looks very impressive to say the least).

A mate of mine had a work colleague who knew the owner of a Dove based at Ardmore and back in 2001 we tried to organise a charter flight over the Waitakeres, but sadly it was not to be. I got a good look at her in the hangar though.

Organizing a trip to shoot the heck out of the Devon, do enough photo's may sway Mike to do a double whammy .. I still have the measurements and placing of all the aerials and the astrodome myself and Barf did at the Wigram Museum for Derek,s Devon .

This type of aircraft fits in perfectly with the type of regional flying I really enjoy. The Heron also appears a bit smaller than I expected for a four-engine aircraft, which will be good for getting into those smaller strips.

Smaller strips and almost farm strips after the fun trip I had in a Devon as a bag spuds .... actually two bag's of spuds , i invited Rick my brother along .. wicked two two hours .
