With this whole home-sim beat-up going on re the pilot I bet the aircraft manufacturers will be reviewing just how much cooperation they offer to PMDG and the likes in future?Last edited by deeknow on Tue Mar 18, 2014 9:03 am, edited 1 time in total.Deans repaints: http://www.deeknow.com/

Real world things change and buggered up our in cockpit experience after 9/11 , you simply cannot get in a cockpit unless you sent a letter in and have very stringent going thru for security, looks like they may have to be looking at the drivers as well.

I had to laugh when his sophisticated sim set up was shown. A saitek yoke and throttle quad and some monitors. what a media beat up.

My point is that the captain was a activist. His name was revealed to the media like that he was a muslim and he might have been a typical Terrorist.
Despite this, I am a muslim, but I really hate Terrorism- Zain

A good part of the population (Malaysia) are non Christian , so being a muslim is no surprise , and i cant find any reference on the media to your " typical terrorist" statement.
Re being an activist .... who isn't in some way , shape or form .

And yeah, am starting to bore of the flood of MH370 misinformation on public and alt media, until the Malaysian authorities and other government/millitary sources cough up what they really know we might as well park the whole conversation.Last edited by deeknow on Wed Mar 19, 2014 7:11 pm, edited 1 time in total.Deans repaints: http://www.deeknow.com/

Yes, the last thing we need is another misinformed media frenzy as happened after 9/11. Didn't that delay the release of FS2002 for a few months?QUOTEThey also go on about Flight-radar, in the early years the authorities were scared having that available was also a possible terrorist tool, frankly every aircraft should have the transmitters specific - this case is a good example, many people enjoy and track the flights , would have been an extra set off eyes out there that may have giving some lead or people would have questioned is disappearance.[/quote]
I agree. This sad incident has really shown up the deficiencies of current official tracking methods. By contrast, I've seen Flightradar used extensively and convincingly to investigate possible theories as to what happened.Last edited by AdrianPetford on Wed Mar 19, 2014 11:41 pm, edited 1 time in total.Adrian Petford

Agreed,..until that time or until when the plane is found everything is BS, here-say and guesswork and achieves nothing.

I see that view repeated a lot but I think it misses the point of a forum. There's nothing wrong with healthly discussion and there's an opportunity for people to learn from the views of others. Of course no one really knows what's happened, that's obvious....but discussion here is not going to impede the investigation one single iota so that's the harm?Last edited by freaknout on Thu Mar 20, 2014 2:40 am, edited 1 time in total.
