Yeah, that'd be Flightsim Central, for sure. Dunno if my flatmate would go for it though...
Actually, I think we've found a place at Diamond Harbour.

When I said 'tonight', I probably meant tomorrow. My son came over this afternoon, with my grandson, and a couple of bottles of his award-winning home brew, so I knocked off early for the day... and when my daughter-in-law came to pick them up, she left me enough ground coffee for a month...
That is a good day.

Now that is is a bloody great day .. I'd be scared to listen that COFFEE grinder go off again ... I did mention a 'freight train' in a post today ....bit like ya coffee machine.

Yeah, after all the trouble I've had with espresso makers and other paraphernalia, my daughter gave me a stovetop espresso maker for Christmas, and it just makes things so much easier -- and quieter.

Well look at it this way .. I'd rather hear a boom chug a laga of your coffee machine more than a angry tribe or the bro's - now gone finger crossed .

This is worth considering at some stage, I must admit I almost never fly at night:)
One issue I've had with P3D is the HDR setting at night. This can 'blow out' the lighting a lot, and it is worthwhile trying night flying without HDR for a toned-down experience.
The 'hotfix' did overcome most OOMs for me, but it is good to know that LM are almost ready to go with another fix which should sort this out once and for all. Quite funny to read your comment about frames rates -- I remember for a long time FSX users would have sold their grandmothers for frame rates in the mid 20s, but this is a valid point -- there is still a long way to go before we see frame rates comparable to modern games.

It crashes too frequently with a g3d.dll error - it seems this can be fixed by purchasing the registered version of FSUIPC but I'm reluctant to just throw more $ at it. I also get odd shadow corruption when I enable receive shadows internal and external the aircraft, so I cannot use this feature either at the moment
A thought, many payware aircraft and addons come with a registered version of FSUIPC , a little odd if you have to be required to buy this utility to get the sim running ?

They come with the free version normally? I haven't had any that install it from memory though. It was a suggested fix by some random on the P3D forums, not their official response. I have a feeling it's to do with 3rd party textures, but at this stage I'm over it. Fiddling takes hours because P3D takes ages to load, and when it crashes I have to repeat the cycle. FSX for now is running stable and giving me similar FPS.
