A limited time offer which I just noticed... at US$8 instead of $30.65 you have to at least consider it . . . .

48 Hour Deal: Viscount - Legends of Flight (Download) for FSX, only £5/€6/$8 until 2pm (UK time) 5 April 2014.

The only aircraft I've uninstalled after less than 24 hours. It might be something to do with windows 8 but it flies like a gumboot for me.

Your not alone Greg , Ive got it (full price dry.gif ) but i wont use it again . If i want to fly one I go back to fs9 and use Rick Pipers great model.
Do you think we a spoilt these days ? or are we more aware of detail etc .... i know that some of the great freeware stuff has messed up the "so so" payware people a bit .... and so they should .

I second this. A giant, flying, utterly useless, gumboot.
But don't get me wrong, it's good; just a bit of a brick on my FPS.

It did (after the fact) but before hand , i thought this looks good ... should have waited for the feedback to start .

There is a patch for the ground handling, many things tested with the model but generally if you taxi at a lower speed and one thing normally done was using low prop pitch on the way out and course on return to the terminal was shutting the inside engines down, one thing pointed out about the Viscount is they were floaters.
