Yeah you did get that box in feeling as well ... like the early MSFS , guess is were after 1995 Flight Sim started to come into its own, then course the design tools added for FS98 (funny to see some still build on that platform) .... Let hope FLIGHT its not the golden turkey duck chicken or goose.

Flight itself was a great sim I thought (and perhaps that's an unpopular opinion)- It ran smooth, the lighting and weather was right, it had some nice scenery engine enhancements etc....the reason it failed was because MS didn't open the addons up to external developers and simultaneously didn't put enough resources against making addons itself.

Interesting times ahead for sure.

Theres no argueing it was nicely made an so on its the fact it was so extremely limited that it was basically a turkey without stuffing...

Yes and even some of the Flight add ons were limited in function. Did some not even have cockpits from memory?
It did have promise when it was first floated.
Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!
