Does anyone know if taxiway G ever gets used?

Is this better or would you guys like the concrete texture (REX or default texture) to be used?

thats the only thing I really don''t like about Orbx Airports sometimes. everything kind of doesn't 'flow'. They made GREAT effort for NZQN, but this has got to be their poorest attempt yet. The parking mats being a clear example

This is not a full product like Queenstown - this is a upgrade that comes with the NZ South island package - it's FAR better than default!!

Well the Christchurch apron would be a bit of a texturing nightmare. It's a mosaic!

Yup true, it's not a full product I guess. But like Omitchell said, it makes me cringe looking at those parking mat ninja.gif s!

Really is a pity we don't have the observation deck anymore , not that we could not see from that specific vantage point and all the way round , tar-seal new is black after years it greys .. recent hard spots for parking gone concrete .

Sure is a pitty. I have 3 days a week where I need to pop into the airport for work, with enough spare time. I could easily spend a few minutes there each day if it were still there.

Been waiting for the famous Orbx night light magic in little old NZ for a while now, glad to see we've finally caught up with the other regions!

I checked out Robins Wellington and either the ORBX NZSI patch 3 or their new library pack has fixed all the gabled roofs that were very bad in Wellington with ORBX NZNI thumbup1.gif

But unfortunately all the NZNS, NZOM, NZPN and NZWB levels have all got to be fixed again in the world scenery and also some of the other files for Robs Photoreal Marlborough need fixing again pirate.gif

For every non Orbx South Island addon airport I have, I went into the FTX_NZSI_05_SCENERY directory and removed the three .BGL's Orbx have for that airfield to an outside backup folder, eg ADE_FTX_NZSI_NZHK.bgl, ADE_FTX_NZSI_NZHK_CVX.bgl and ADE_FTX_NZSI_NZHK_objects.bgl.

After this, I went into Scenery/World/Scenery and found the elevation adjustment file, eg ADE_FTX_NZSI_NZHK_elevation_adjustment.BGL and moved it to the dummy folder also.

All my NZSI REAL NZ fields that I've chucked this far seem ok, although I can't remember if the likes of Nelson and Hokitika used to have the runways sitting on such obvious plateaus before the SP3 patch?

Queenstown also required a reinstall to fix the runway elevation, and although this is properly the wrong forum for it, most of the downtown buildings and surrounding hotels now show up as just black walled blocks?

Nelson certainly doesn't look right -- sorry, I do have plans to go through everything and check what's been broken, but in the meantime, I wonder if the Nelson Switcher would fix this -- with FTX Oceania active, run the Switcher, and press the Switch button twice, to toggle FTX compatibility off and on again.
