I don't like to fiddle ... I work with computers all day and simply don't want to waste time at home trying to get things working ... they work or they don't

Jeeze Jeff, I'm amazed you do anything at all with the Sim coz in my experience NOTHING works in FSX without a little tinkering biggrin.gif

Just lucky I guess. I have just a few tweaks I put in immediately following install and never touched it since!
I don't have super high expectations and am generally satisfied with what I have, for the most part.
I install everything properly, to recommended practices and locations, in the right order with the right components.
I also only use 'for P3Dv2' add-ons, no migration tools or processes for non-P3D add-ons: the most I'll do is point an installer to
my P3D folder and it works or doesn't. If it doesn't, I clean it out.
Generally, following these rules, I have few if any issues.
I work with computers too much during my day job to want to waste time in my spare time: those days (years!) are behind me. smile.gif

Your loss mate, sorry, but in my experience its worth a few mins out of the day. (I'm also an IT worker BTW smile.gif)

Yeah, its odd. Used to love tinkering early on in my career. Heck, at one point I had thirteen physical boxes and another dozen or so virtualised.
These days, with family and all, I just want stuff to work. I've become, ahem, OMG a .... a .... a .... no I can't say it .... ok then, I admit it ... A USER!!!
Waaaahaaaahaaahaaaaa.... there, are you happy now?! ;-)

Haha, nice one, yeah I sympathise, I too am getting a lot less patient with dodgy products over time.
I can't believe I've stuck with a certain 777 product recently for as long as I have but it finally seems to be working... I ain't tweaking that particular sucker ever again smile.gif
