"Things can go pear shaped very quickly." and i think it will CP . I think the key is (as others have said) is to somehow motivate the armed forces in Iraq ...250,000 of them ,but they dont seem to be able to get it together.

Gawd! that would be the last place I would won't to go to stabilize the area ... that would be the worst nightmare ... it was the Syrians activist the jumped on the band wagon during the 2002 frac ... they co-insider with Iraq ... maybe that is the basis of were IS come from ? .. Before anyone answers ... how come Iran, Jordan, Lebanon and other bordering countries want nothing off it ... I put dollars on it many ISIS are a mix off these radicals from all these countries even before the western radicals are in there.

... look what happened in OZ .. couple off them went down to 'Bondi Beach' Sydney .. well the rest is history, its all over the news and in the papers .
