Thanks Marty, like as many said here, never really thought about the placing or getting the those cranes up,
as kids, me and my brothers we built a 6 story tree on the end off Axton Ave, a dead end street off Bucknell St - now its Cheyanne St , on top was a roofless top and was all nailed to tree .. in a Southerly wind it really swayed , It was so high it was able to be seen from the Sockburn overhead bridge...
It had to be pulled down around 1978 since the council considered as an eyesore

... it also had two balconies and from the top separate levels two flying fox's ... it was about three times the height off today's street lightning concrete lamppost, every kid in the neighbourhood turned up for wargames and slingshot wars.
