Great stuff aye. A bunch of these machines have been operated in NZ, and a local operator Sun Air has a whole fleet of them. Not the most inspiring livery tho :)

Dean, I would not be surprised if it , the AH aircraft was not released with this livery.

:D Don't worry Carlos, join the club and to think some are happy with 2 or 3 ... we both aren't happy without 200 to 300 :D

So what's the appeal CP? They must be reliable? Easy to maintain? Cheap to operate?

Cheap and robust and for a long time the only viable 6 seater twin around.
I have always thought of them as ugly.

Standard piper really. Each one is different, hydraulic system only on the left engine unless you had an F model, terrible single engine performance but the engines were indestructable....the list goes on

On the plus side they carried a good payload including ice on those cold wet IMC days.

Just looked through my logbook and ZKDGS was the last aztruk I flew, on 12 October 2000, doing a multi endorsement for a gentlemen who is now, or at least was somewhere in the Air NZ jet fleet.
