One thing I have noticed the BB codes are not working for Utube plus older historical pic, admin may need to have a look.

I had a look on the Win10 PC , obviously they are giving XP coms PC a real bloody shove .. maybe there is another code that could be used for the XP , I don't see why it needs the change in the last week ten days.

That is pretty incredible, apparently it is just one single model, which just seems bizarre to me.

I'm guessing they mean one single .mdl model.

Still does seem odd that they'd get better performance than using batching for the "autogen"

I guess than in a small area like this as long as you work within the vertex limits of single draw-calls, it should work better than a mixture of techniques.

Strangely 'Narvik' maybe not so strange I keep thinking 1940 and the battleship HMS Warspite and HMS Cossack and others taking out a lot German destroyers and transports , typical of my thinking.

Great stuff ay.

I've been buying everything that comes our for Norway, having visited there a couple of times IRL and liking the terrain (sort of a NZ on the other side of the world, but with a lot more ice :)). Lots of interesting routes and challenging approaches

There was a very interesting documentary about the Atlantic ocean and the Northern gulf stream, more for the fish's and marine life, one thing pointed out in seasons was how the ocean temperature from the southern stream affected the climate lifting temp's by a couple of Deg's and a real difference between Norway , Sweden and Finland , with an image from space, the other two were covered in snow yet Norway was clear, a very unique thing the ocean dose in the seasons.

In WWII, it was the Gulf Stream that allowed the Allied convoys to get in to Murmansk.

I have some great Norwegian scenery in my Classic FS9.1, so this was interesting. I googled narvik images and found the Orbx video of the scenery was a good match for the real world, unlike their Shetland (and other parts of Scotland) which they covered in forest when there are only about two trees in the whole place. If they have used proper elevations, I might consider buying it; but then again I am still disgusted by their early arrogant marketing, so I won't be in any hurry.

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

I have a brilliant photo here during those convoys .. due to the ocean temps , looks like steam but will kill in seconds if ya fall in.
