Just Flight BAC 1-11 released

Postby cowpatz » Sat Oct 01, 2016 8:42 am

Just released and available for a limited time at US$29.99

I wonder if they have a Air Pacific paint scheme? I really loved Dave Maltby's rendition of the BAC. It was awesome.

BAC 1-11 available here

This one is pretty damn nice, David Maltby's One Eleven is a goodie , Air Pacific would be an interesting one, only time I have seen 1-11s was the RAAF aircraft parked at the old Canterbury Aero Club ramp in the 1980's , the first viewing tho was the types world tour and when they were trying to sell the type to New Zealand, I would have been only around 5 yrs old when my father pointed it out with our regular Christchurch airport visits , now who is going to do a 'what if' NAC paint from in the recent NAC book :wink2:

I'll Just stick to the 'What if NAC' published , I think it won't be that much of a hit , Steve's Air Pacific may takeoff.

Thanks and no worries, I actually enjoy doing them (well, mostly - sometimes something can go wrong and then . . . ). I'm sure you will see more!

A great panorama.
It is a bit FS2004ish isn't it? It could do with a good set of VC textures.

I think with the VC texture it would have been handy to have access to a real McCoy cockpit, a good example is Jan Visser's DC-3 cockpit build were were they had people with access, you can see the results there, I'm sure they must have 1-11's in the UK museums.

They must have had access Ian as there are a few photo shots like the cocpit door etc...unless they are just generic.

A lot is generic and repeated, a lot of the panels are built i'm guessing from low res photo.
