Having to wait a few days meant that I got the 'good' version, which fixes the problems that people had with subscriptions. I just installed the minimum, as I don't really think there's much of interest in the 'scenery' update.
Immediately noticed a more polished, smoother sim. Nice to see autogen buildings as far as the eye can see, really effective in big cities. And some of my city scenery has been plagued with floating houses, which seems to be fixed now.
I've scrapped 2.5, and really apart from testing new releases, there's no reason why I'd ever fire up FSX again. Prepar3D v3 is a couple of leaps forward as far as visual realism goes, still plenty of room for improvement, and so far LM seem keen to keep the improvements coming.
